<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; margin: 0in 24.45pt 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><em><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">We wish to inform you that earlier due to covid-19 pandemic, the industry was not fully operational and faced financial issues. Also, it is to highlight that there is no generation of effluent from the industry, thus there is no requirement of installation of ETP. Further, ours is a small scale unit and no water is being generated from manufacturing process. However, we do the mopping only with wet cloth and the same is disposed to TSDF site.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">In this regard, it is submitted that as per CPCB’s SOP for lead acid battery recycling units, the industry is required to install ETP in its premises. However, the industry not yet installed effluent treatment plant in its premises, as such, the industry is not complying with the SOPs now laid down by CPCB.</span></p>
