<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under both the Acts for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 4500 TPA by using PVC Resin, Calcium Carbonate & Chemicals @ 4600 TPA as raw material vide no. RO/SGR/WPC/2008/F-469/V-572 dated 30/09/2013 valid up to 31/12/2022 under the Water Act, 1974 and vide no. RO/SGR/APC/2008/F-462/V-565 dated 30/09/2013 valid up to 31/12/2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry has deposited Rs. 89600/- Vide. R.No. KKBKH22330783872 dated 26.11.2022 under the Water Act, 1974, Rs. 89600/- Vide. R.No. KKBKH22330786228 dated 26.11.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rs. 2200/- Vide. R.No. KKBKH22330785132 dated 26.11.2022 as NOC Fee and Rs. 500/- Vide. R.No. KKBKH22330784770 dated 26.11.2022 as application fee, which is adequate upto 31.12.2036 as per C.A certificate of fixed assets of Rs. 130.86<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Lacs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry was visited on 16.12.2022 by undersigned and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 21.65pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry is not generating any trade effluent, only domestic effluent is discharging onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 21.65pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry has installed a DG set of capacity 180 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 21.65pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry was complying with the earlier granted air and water consent conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 75.65pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">In view of above, it is, therefore, recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may please be granted for the manufacturing of PVC pipes @ 4500 TPA by using PVC Resin, Calcium Carbonate & Chemicals @ 4600 TPA as raw material up to 31.12.2036 with usual conditions.</span></p> |
