CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2021/17267224 & CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2021/17267227 both dated 23.11.2021, valid upto 22.11.2022 & 31.03.2023 respectively production of Dyeing of Knitted Fabric @ 1600 Kgs/day, Processing of Garments @ 160 Kgs/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 400 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP & domestic effluent @ 1 KLD into sewer with conditions mentioned therein.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>

No. N307222190222851 dated 03.11.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.07.2024.<span style="color: red;"> </span></span></span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed 07 Soft flow machines (300 kg x 7) having total 14 chambers & one sample machine in its premises. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The study on effluent generation has been done by the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNE) and as per report it has total effluent generation as </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">280</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> KLD from its total </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">14</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> chambers of soft flow machines. However, the industry has granted </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">478</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> KLD shares on 22.07.2022 of CETP, hence the discharge of the industry is within the share allotted to it.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">However, the industry vide letter dated 23.09.2022 has informed that they have two dyeing units namely M/s Famina Fabrics & M/s Royal Coating at Tajpur Road, Ludhiana and both are sister concern unit. The industry has further informed that they have 478 KLD share in M/s Famina Fabric, but effluent generation is 280 KLD as per GNE report of this unit. Hence, they have 198 KLD extra share in M/s Famina Fabric. The industry further informed that they have 391 share in M/s Royal Coating, but as per GNE report the discharge of M/s Royal Coating @ 480 KLD, hence, they have 89 share less in M/s Royal Coating. The industry submitted that due to joint concern they want to transfer 150 shares from M/s Famina Fabric in M/s Royal Coating. The industry has also submitted the certificate in this regard from the M/s Punjab Dyers Association, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana on dated 23.09.2022 according to which the SPV has allowed the transfer of 150 shares from M/s Famina Fabric to M/s Royal Coating. </span><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US;">After transfer of the above said shares between these two sister concern unit. M/s Famina Fabric will have 328 share and M/s Royal Coating will have 541 shares.</span></strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> The present CTO has been also applied by this unit at 328 KLD for discharge into CETP 50 MLD.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry is connected with the conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana for discharge its effluent. The industry has provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has not provided boiler in its premises and steam is being used from sister concern i.e. M/s Royal Coating, which has obtained Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with validity upto 31-12-2022. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has also installed two DG sets of capacity 125 KVA & 62 KVA with canopies and adequate heights.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Further, some units have made the complaint regarding in judicial allotment of the shares by the PDA, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana, which is under process at Board and at Govt. Level. </span></li>
</ol>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Till the finalization of the allotment of the shares of CETP 50 MLD, it is recommended that:</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l3 level1 lfo3;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be considered for grant for short period as approved by the Competent Authority in such cases for the discharge of trade effluent & domestic effluent @ </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">328</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;"> KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD at existing machinery subject to the condition that:-</span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -58.5pt; mso-text-indent-alt: -13.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>II.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -58.5pt; mso-text-indent-alt: -13.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>III.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -58.5pt; mso-text-indent-alt: -13.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>IV.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry shall maintain the record of flow meter installed at outlet leading to CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -58.5pt; mso-text-indent-alt: -13.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>V.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry shall not generate/discharge trade & domestic effluent more than </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">328</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;"> KLD without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
