<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">As reported by Regional Office, Fatehgarh Sahib, the industry has submitted the Adequacy certificate from PSCST as per hearing decision. Further, the condition w.r.t. plantation area to be developed has already been detailed in the EC granted to the unit vide no. 437 dated 06/06/2019 at point no. VII (i-a & i-b) and does not require amendment. As per EC condition, the industry needs to develop total 6.32 Acre plantation area inside & outside its premises. As reported by Regional Office, </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">the industry has developed pocket of land under plantations in front of the unit along boundary wall inside the unit, in about 2.3 Acre of land in the separate plot/ land at about 1 km and is in the process of developing land under plantation in the adjoining plot as per EC condition. The representative of the industry informed that the complete plantation area shall be developed within 2 month time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of facts mentioned above and recommendations given by Regional Office, if approved, renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2023 with suitable conditions and following specific conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">1. The industry shall develop the complete plantation area as per EC condition within two months and submit compliance immediately, thereafter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">2. The industry shall comply with the all the conditions of EC granted to it in true letter and spirit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">3. The industry shall utilize its entire treated domestic effluent onto land for plantation purposes in scientific manner.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">4. The industry shall not generate and discharge any trade effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">5. The industry shall comply with the guidelines of Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">6. The industry shall comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD.</span></p>
