CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2018/7211027 dated 11/04/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2018/7210975 dated 10/04/2018, both having validity upto 30/09/2022, for production of IMFL @ 7000 cases/day by using GNS @ 18.239 MTD, CAB/SCOTCH @ 6.188 MTD & CARAMEL @ 0.027 MTD as raw material, subject to certain condition mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in .2pt 6.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite document. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in .2pt 6.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has deposited Rs. 4,20,500/- vide R no. 01/5523 dated 23.11.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Further, the industry has deposited Rs 4200/- vide UTR no. HSBCN22294839830 dated 21.10.2022, Rs. 4200/- vide UTR no. HSBCN22294839831 dated 21.10.2022 and Rs. 21600/- vide UTR no. HSBCN22294839828 dated 21.10.2022. the fee deposited by the industry is <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>adequate upto 30.09.2027 (considering late fee of Rs. 4200/- and NOC regularization fee for increase in its assets from Rs. 26.8 cr. to 37.7 cr.) for both the Acts against the fixed assets of Rs. 37.76 cr. on 31.08.2022.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in .2pt 6.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">It is worth to mention here that as per the details submitted by the industry, w.r.t the previous ‘consent to operate’ issued to the year 2018, the cost of building has increased by almost Rs. 3.1 Cr. and cost of plant and machinery has increased by around Rs. 6.7 Cr. The industry has not given any proper justification as to whether they have added and new machinery or done any alterations/modifications in the building, at the site. In case, the industry has done so, it needs to obtain and submit fresh/revised building plan approved u/s 3-A of the Factories Act, 1948. </span></p>

Further, the industry has installed mechanical flow meters installed at outlet of the ETP, only around 0.7 KLD is being used for flushing purpose in admin block and around 0.4 KLD is being used for gardening of green area within premises. As such, the quantities of freshwater abstracted and wastewater generated are not in consonance. Thus, it may be deduced that the flow meters installed by the industry are not working properly. </span></p>

As such, either the flow meters installed by the industry are not in order, or the records being maintained by the industry is not correct.</span></p>
