<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2021/16293242 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/HSP/2021/16293143 dated 12.07.2021 valid upto 30.09.2022 with conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Now, the stone crusher has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The stone crusher has submitted online application form, CA Certificate, Documents Details, Agreement Mining, Mining Slips,<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Raw material, Mining Registration<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>, Compliance report of previous consent conditions. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The stone crusher has already deposited fee 54000/- Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 54000/- under Air Act and now deposited Rs. 30000/- vide UTR No. 000129355463 dated 22.11.2022, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>which are adequate upto 30.09.2023 under both acts. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The stone crusher was visited by officer of this office on 13.12.2022 and observed as under:- 1) Sh. Vikas Verma representative of the industry was contacted at site. 2) The stone crusher was not in operation at the time of visit. 3) The industry has installed 01 No. Jaw, 02 No. Rotopactor, 02 No. Granulator alongwith necessary conveyor belts of different products. 4) The stone crusher has provided conventional chutes to the end of the conveyor belts to control the dust emission. 5) The stone crusher has provided water sprinklers three side the boundary alongwith ramp. 6) The stone crusher has provided fresh plants around the boundary. 7) The stone crusher has enclosed the dust emitting points i.e. Jaw/ Roller crusher etc. 8) The stone crusher has already submitted annual health survey of the workers at the time of visit. 9) The industry is meeting with the guidelines prescribed by the Board for stone crushers. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, if approved it is recommended that, the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2023 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">1) The industry shall plant more trees around the boundary of the stone crusher within one month and shall submit the compliance in this office. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">2) The industry shall renew its agreement with the supplier of the raw material before its expiry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">3) The industry shall submit the returns regarding raw material used product manufactured in this office on monthly basis. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">4) The industry shall submit extended bank guarantee within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">5) This consent is granted subject to the condition that the stone crusher shall comply with the policy (which is being framed by the Govt. of the Punjab in compliance to the orders of the Hon'ble NGT dated 10.12.2020). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">6) The Board can curtain or cancel the consent in case the stone crusher is found non-complying with the policy which is being framed by the Govt. of the Punjab in compliance to the orders of the Hon'ble NGT dated 10.12.2020.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">7) The stone crusher shall comply with the code of practice issued for stone crushers. </span></p>
