<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span lang="EN-US"> </span></strong><span lang="EN-US">It is intimated that earlier the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference No. CTOW/Fresh/PKT/2022/18148223 & CTOA/Fresh/PKT/2022/18148220 dated 09/05/2022 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 4500 CFT/Day, Washed Sand @ 3500 CFT/Day & Silt @ 1000 CFT/Day by using River Bed Material @ 9000 CFT/Day, which were valid upto 08/07/2022 respectively.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> Now the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of stone crusher through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> The industry has deposited Rs. 18,500/- vide UTR No. SBIN522101946508 dated 11/04/2022 & Rs. 18,000/- vide UTR No.<br />SBIN522101943072 dated 11/04/2022 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 respectively, including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 84,00,000/- as on 11/04/2022 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2026 under both Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> The industry was visited by officer of this office on 15/12/2022 and compliance of code of practice was observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The industry has installed one no. Cone Crusher of capacity @ 150 MT/Hr, one no. Jaw Crusher, one no. Vibrators and One no. Screener Plant.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The industry has also installed 03 no. D.G. sets of capacity 500 KVA, 250 KVA & 125 KVA, which are provided with canopies.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The stone crusher has provided conventional chutes to the end of the conveyor belts.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The stone crusher has provided recirculation system for recirculation the washing effluent into the process. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The stone crusher has stabilized the approach road with river bed material within the premises and on the ramp.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 19.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The stone crusher has provided green belt along the boundary, however, same needs to be properly maintained for its proper growth.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;">The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;"> </span><span style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2026 with suitable along with special conditions :-</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span>The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2. <span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;">The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice.</span></span></p> |
