<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has reported that the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for the production of Crafted Beer @ 15 Ltr/Day & Different finished food products @ 150 Kgs/Day by using Yeast @ 0.1 Kgs/day, Different types of Food raw materials/ Dressed Poultry/ cooking oil @ 150 Kgs/day & Malt/Millets @ 30 Kgs/day under Orange category. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> The industry has submitted all the requisite documents such as C.A. Certificate showing value of gross fixed assets of the industry, completion certification of STP, site plant & location Plan etc.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US">The industry has deposited Rs. 8400/- vide UTR No. 759325629 dated 18/10/2022 & now deposited Rs. 34,100/- vide UTR No. 888449267 dated 06/12/2022 & Rs. 42,500/- vide UTR No. 988685222 dated 06/12/2022 as consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading Fee) fee against gross value of project worth Rs. 125.00 Lacs as on 25/03/2022 and same is adequate upto 31/03/2027.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 12/12/2022 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p>1. The industry is a microbrewery and was in operation during visit. It is established in premises of M/s Carnation Green (Food Court).</p>
<p>2. For treatment of all the domestic and trade effluent, ETP based on MBBR has been installed.</p>
<p>3. During visit, sufficient effluent was not available and no discharged was being made from the ETP outlet.</p>
<p>4. The treated effluent is sent to STP of M/s Carnation Green (Food Court).</p>
<p>5. The representative has been guided to operate ETP regularly and maintain necessary record.</p>
<p>6. The solid waste is handled by M/s Carnation Green</p>
<p>7. No DG set is installed.</p>
<p> <span lang="EN-US"> The project falls in Orange Category in small scale sector, hence competency to decide the case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board in the light of Head Office, Patiala letter no. 19650-761 dated 30/04/2013 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith). </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for one year subject to the suitable conditions and with the special condition that the industry shall get the effluent samples analyzed from the Board.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">As discussed the compliance of proceedings of the PH was received through email dated 17/12/2022 as such the project is complying with decision of Personal hearing. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">May if approved, </span>Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for one year subject to the suitable conditions and with the special condition that:-</p>
<p>1. The industry shall get the effluent samples analyzed from the Board.</p>
<p>2. The industry shall get the full compliance for the decision of personal hearing.</p>
