CTOW/Varied/RPN/2022/17968146 dated 07/04/2022 under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and vide no. CTOA/Varied/RPN/2022/17789314 dated 07/04/2022 under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein. Both consents are valid upto 31/03/2023. The detail of products &amp; by-products for which the varied consent were granted is given </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">in the note attached</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 73.55pt; line-height: 149%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is further intimated that the industry was granted </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">Consent to Establish (NOC) for Expansion vide no. CTE/Exp/RPN/2022/19354378 dated 26.10.2022 valid upto 25.10.2023 and thereafter, vide corrigendum issued by Zonal office Endst. Letter no. 6862 dated 09.11.2022 for manufacturing of products &amp; by-products </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">are tabulated in the note attached</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 73.55pt; line-height: 149%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span>for adding of Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP) @ 33000 MT/Year in the existing products and by products for which the varied consents have been granted with requisite documents and consent fee.</span><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> </strong></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted the CA certificate wherein, the value of fixed assets of the industry as on 30.06.2022 is of Rs. 530.76 crore, with the value of plant and machinery of Rs. 493.20 crore. Accordingly, the industry has deposited Rs. 319000.0 vide UTR no. AUBLR52022082951886459 dated 28.09.2022 on account of Air consent fee and Rs. 319000.00 vide UTR no. AUBLR52022082951886442 dated 28.09.2022 on account of Water consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.08.2023.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 73.55pt; line-height: 149%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted the compliance report of previous consent conditions, site plan, analysis report of samples collected by the Board, Environmental Statement for the Year 2020-2021 and feasibility report. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 73.55pt; line-height: 149%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">Further, the industry was visited by the AEE on 30.11.2022 and Sh. MPS Walia, General Manager was contacted. The mechanical works for stable bleaching powder was in line with liquid chlorine connection from unit upto the SBP reaction drums. The reaction will be exothermic reaction and chilled water will be used for cooling purpose. The cooling water will be 100% utilized in re-circulation. There will be no increase in domestic effluent from the staff of the industry and colony as the total number of workers as on date and after the operation of SBP plant will not increase. The permeate from the RO is sent to cooling tower. The RO reject is sent the MEE plant for further treatment. The industry is maintaining the record of readings of these flow meters. The inlet and outlet flow meter readings were noted during visit as 15441 m<sup>3</sup> and 109896 m<sup>3</sup>. The industry uses hydrogen gas as fuel and furnace oil is also used in these boilers at the initial firing stage. The industry has capped the 3 number of the brine sludge storage yards over which plantation had been done by the industry and the fourth one is presently active. The industry has provided leachate collection drain along all the brine sludge pits. The industry has installed 4 no.
