<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry was visited by the RO, Rupnagar on 14.12.2022. During visit, air emission samples from the various stacks installed by the industry were collected and as per analysis report received in Zonal Office-1, Patiala on 21.12.2022. The SPM level for stacks attached to packer-1 & 2 were beyond the permissible limits <strong>(copy attached)</strong>. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, may if approved, Competent Authority be requested to issue show cause notice for refusal of renewal of consent to operate applied under the Air Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Competent Authority, please. </p>
