<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. RO/SGR/WPC/2009/F-512/R-566 dated 25/10/2013 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. RO/SGR/APC/2009/F-505/R-573 dated 25/10/2013 both valid upto 31/12/2022 for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 800 kg/day by using PVC Resin, Calcium Carbonate and PVC Chemicals & Oils @ 800 kg/day as raw material. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 800 kg/day by using PVC Resin, Calcium Carbonate and PVC Chemicals & Oils @ 800 kg/day as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has deposited Rs. 11,000/- Vide. R.No. SDL118878479 dated 09.12.2022 under the Water Act, 1974, Rs. Rs. 11,000/- Vide. R.No. SDL118878295 dated 09.12.2022 under the Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 500/- Vide. R.No. SDL118878078 dated 09.12.2022 as application fee, which is adequate up to 31/12/2027 as per C.A certificate of fixed assets of Rs. 46.06 lacs dated 30.11.2022. The industry has also deposited NOC regularization fee of Rs. 1400/- Vide. R.No. SDL119296131 dated 15.12.2022 as NOC Fee regarding increased in the value of gross fixed assets of Rs. 23.54 to Rs. 46.06, which is adequate upto 31/12/2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has submitted a letter regarding increase in the value of gross fixed assets and has stated that the increase in CA is because of repair of its machinery and installation of new parts in machinery. The industry has not increased any production capacity and pollution load.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has also submitted compliance report of consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide Office Order No. 59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of Consent to Operate/ Establish to Orange & Green Category of Industries within 7 days of its application submission without the need of visiting the site/ premises of the industry, in order to facilitate the industry. Further, it is intimated that there is no change in the underappreciated value of the fixed assets.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">No complaint is pending against the industry. The industry was found complying with consent conditions during last visit and consents were granted thereafter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Keeping above in view, it is recommended that consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 & under the Air Act, 1981 may be issued up to 31/12/2027 for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 800 kg/day by using PVC Resin, Calcium Carbonate and PVC Chemicals & Oils @ 800 kg/day, as raw material, under green category.</span></p> |
