<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;"> The consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 30.06.2020 </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;"> </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;">was revoked by Board </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px;"> and PSPCL authorities were directed to disconnect electric connection.Thereafter t</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px;">he industry was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 upto 31.03.2021 for dry finishing and manufacturing of crust leather @ 1800 sq.mtr/day and the electric connection was restored temporarily lastly upto 31.12.2021.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-color: #ffffff;">The industry has now applied for renewal of consent under Water Act, 1974 alongwith restoration. As per report of Regional Office, the industry has consumed 5361 KL of fresh water in the process since 01.09.2022 and has discharge 5134 KL into the CETP drain. As such the record seems to be in consonance.</span></span></span></p>
