<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is recommended that the request made by the industry regarding grant of 'consent to operate' may be considered and it may be granted 'consent to operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <strong>upto 31.03.2024</strong> with following special conditions:</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall comply with conditions of Environmental Clearance granted to it under EIA Notification, 2006 and shall submit compliance report of all the conditions within 6 months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry is advised to obtain necessary clearance for Abstraction of Ground Water from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall continue to comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall not dispose off its Hazardous waste to any unauthorized vendor. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyTextIndent" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall execute annual maintenance contract (AMC) for APCD from the repute agency and submit the report in this regard.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry shall not use any scrap containing Hazardous waste like shockers containing waste oil.</span></p> |
