Earlier, the project proponent applied for fresh consent to establish (NOC) and same was returned due to various observations mentioned as under:
1. The project proponent has not filled complete application form i.e. built up area of the project.
2. The project proponent has not submitted certificate issued by PWRDA regarding abstraction of ground water.
3. The project proponent has not submitted permission regarding disposal of treated effluent and solid waste.
4. The project proponent has not submitted permission regarding additional land for the disposal of treated effluent till the sewer line is not available at project site. Moreover, present STP of MC, Zirakpur is under capacity and is not adequate to handle the additional effluent load of such projects.
Now, the project proponent again reapplied for fresh consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same has been scrutinized and various discrepancies observed as under:
1. The project proponent has not filled complete application form i.e. built up area of the project.
2. The project proponent needs to submit proposal regarding additional land for the disposal of treated effluent as, at present STP of MC, Zirakpur is under capacity and is not adequate to handle the additional effluent load of such projects. Board had recently bounded / issued directions to MC, Zirakpur not to issue any fresh sewer connection till the completion of new STP as well as not to approve / give permission to new projects till its new STP is made operational.
It is requested to clarify within 03 days so as to proceed further in the matter. |
