The applicant has submitted that the Particulate matter in air emission samples might get out of prescribed standards due to some technical error as they are using only furnace oil and have also installed Wet scrubber with it.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The applicant is using furnace oil only and the APCD was in operation during visit. There was no black smoke visible from the stack. In view of the above and the reply submitted by the industry, if approved, Consent to Operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the short term subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that the industry will submit the Air emission sample analysis report from Board’s Lab/State Lab within 02 months.</p>
