Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 Vide no. CTOW/Fresh/JAL/2017/5066263 dated 21.04.2017 valid upto 30.06.2021 and Vide no. CTOA/Fresh/JAL/2017/5066205 dated 28.04.2017 valid upto 27.04.2018 for 02 nos. pit furnace and one shot blast machine.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited Rs. 21600/- Vide UTR No. 000107023430 dated 03.08.2021, Rs. 6360/- vide UTR no. 24798707171DC dated 19.08.2021 under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 24000/- (Including Rs. 1400/- as NOC fee and Rs. 500 as application form fee) Vide UTR No. 000107023051 dated 03.08.2021, Rs. 6360/- vide UTR no.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>24798719341DC dated 19.08.2021 under Air Act 1981 which is adequate upto 30.06.2025.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 22.12.2022 and it was observed that the industry was in operation. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has installed electroplating section. The industry has made agreement with M/S JBR Tech. Ludhiana for disposal of its trade effluent @ 3000 ltr/month. The industry has installed water meter on pipeline leading to process area whose reading during visit was 268.50 KL. The industry has provided storage of capacity approx . 8500<span style="color: red;"> </span>ltr for storage of its trade effluent. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and trade effluent lifted by M/s JBR. <span style="color: black;">The record of the industry was checked </span>from 01.09.2022 to 22.12.2022<span style="color: red;"> </span><span style="color: black;">and observed that the industry has consumed 16960 ltr of fresh water and has lifted 14000 ltr to JBR Technologies Pvt Ltd, a</span>bout 2960 ltr was stored at site during visit. <span style="color: black;">The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 82 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has already submitted Certificate from M.C Jalandhar vide MTP letter no 1223 dated 20.1.2017 mentioning that the site falls in general industrial zone. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2025 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. (Competency SEE).</span></p> |
