The industry has installed machinery for manufacturing </span><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Seamless pipe & Tubes (Cold) @ 48 Metric Tonnes/Day </span></strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">and has not yet installed any reverbratory furnace for manufacturing of seamless pipes. Moreover, </span><span class="txt style6"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">the industry was granted NOC </span></span></span><span style="font-size: medium;"><span class="txt style6"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">(under Cat. 1044) </span></span></span></span><span class="txt style6"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">by the Board vide letter </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">dated 13/05/2022 , i.e. well before issuance of MOEF notification dated 20/07/2022.<br /></span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">It is therefore recommended that the industry be granted fresh </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 upto 19/07/2023<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> </strong>to the industry with special conditions as mentioned in the note of AEE </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> and one more additional condition that the industry shall not install machinery for manufacturing Seamless pipe & Tubes (Hot) without obtaining Environmental Clearance as required under the provisons of EIA Notification, 2006 and shall obtain Varied Consents for production of same. </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Submitted for approval pls.</span></span></p>
