<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It has come to the knowledge of the competent authorities that the industry was granted <span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;">NOC modernization of unit for the product frozen vegetables, vegetable patty and tikki @ 25000 MTA by using fresh vegetable @ 40000 MTA subject to the special condition that the NOC is valid for modernization of unit by installing new beans processing unit, chiller unit of capacity 2000 MT alongwith secure compressor in its existing premises without any change in its production capacity.</span> The industry was granted CTO under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for discharge of 344 KLD treated trade effluent and 35 KLD domestic effluent. The industry as per the water balance submitted/discussed, wants to obtain CTO for discharge of trade effluent @ 160 KLD and domestic effluent 26 KLD. The industry is requested to intimate what measures it has taken to reduce water consumption and generation with addition of new beans processing unit and apply for varied CTOs under the both acts. The industry is also requested to deposit NOC extension fee as the NOC modernization has expired on 30/04/2019.</p>
