Moreover, present STP of MC, Zirakpur is under capacity and is not adequate to handle the additional effluent load of such projects.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The project proponent again reapplied for fresh consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same was scrutinized and various discrepancies observed as under:</p>

Board had recently bounded / issued directions to MC, Zirakpur not to issue any fresh sewer connection till the completion of new STP as well as not to approve / give permission to new projects till its new STP is made operational.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Thereafter, the project proponent was raised clarification to submit the reply within 03 days. The project proponent failed to submit the reply to the clarification till date. As such, the application be returned back being incomplete with the request to resubmit the same complete in all respects.</p> |
