As per the proposal, 02 KLD effluent shall be utilized within the premises for green area, 14 KLD for flushing purpose and remaining 17 KLD discharge onto common land (of Future Heights block B C D) for plantation (5 Kanal 15 Marla of village Bhukri) as per Karnal Technology alongwith additional conditions may also be imposed that:</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall either get the exemption/ amendment from obtaining environmental clearance or clarification from the SEIAA, Punjab regarding the non-applicability of the provisinos of the under the EIA notification dated 14/9/2006 for such type of expansion (that the project proponent has proposed the increased the pollution laod from 58 KLD to 91 KLD at the final outlet of sister concerned project namely Future Heights block B C D) before starting any development/ construction/ any other activities regarding the installation of the project.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to the STP, Kharar without prior written permission of the Board.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall not give possessions to the owners without prior permission of the Board.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The PP shall install the smog gun well before starting the construction.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall ensure that the total built-up area of construction being carried out by it or any different builders may not be greater than 20,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(a) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the building and construction project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company/builder shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall ensure that the total built-up area of all individual projects/plots combined together is not more than 1,50,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(b) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the area development project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall develop a plantation area&nbsp;as per karnal technology in an area of 5 Kanal 15 Marla of village Bhukri in Khewant /Khatauni No. 95/98 Khasra No. 11//6(5-15). The PP shall not carry out any type of construction in the area reserved for plantation till the upgradation and enhanced capacity of the STPs installed by the MC is adequate and sewer connection is granted by the MC authority.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->PP will develop the project on its own risk &amp; cost in regard to disposal arrangement.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The promoter company shall also explore the possibility of using treated domestic effluent for useful purposes such as construction work, sprinkling on dusty patches/roads, use in nearby construction activities, etc.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->10.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation &amp; Development Authority (PWRDA).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->11.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The promoter company shall ensure compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and being the bulk waste generator shall ensure segregation of solid waste at source, facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers as prescribed in Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->12.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated, and disposed of through a mechanical composter. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the local body.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->13.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The promoter company shall not consume any fuel except HSD for DG set, for burning purposes without the prior written permission of the Board.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->14.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The PP shall install the smog gun to control the dust emission to be generated from the construction activities of the project.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->15.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means and shall explore the possibility of reduction of quantum of abstraction of groundwater by reusing the treated wastewater in the various activities.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->16.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall provide a permanent pipeline from the project site to onto land for the plantation area</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->17.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall maintain the plantation area as well as a permanent pipeline network for uniform distribution of wastewater in the entire plantation area, so that no stagnation of wastewater occurs inside, outside, or in the plantation area at any time.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->18.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall install a water meter on the freshwater supply and all proposed modes of disposal.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->19.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The industry shall ensure compliance with provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, and or any other environment law applicable to him and rules, circulars issued by the Board from time to time.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->20.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->21.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent may also develop the vermicomposting/ composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. PP shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->22.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall perform / promote its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities as well as use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic (See attached banner/circular).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->23.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->24.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated &amp; disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->25.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <!--[endif]-->A copy of the CTE may be forwarded to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (UD) for SAS Nagar for information with the request not to allow any expansion/ approval on the land of 5 Kanal 15 Marla proposed/ reserved for plantation having &nbsp;Khewant /Khatauni No. 95/98 Khasra No. 11//6(5-15)&nbsp;in, &nbsp;Village Bhukri &nbsp;Kharar, Distt.
