<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale pickling and has been granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2017/5534513 dated 16/08/2017 expired on 30/06/2022 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2017/5534482 dated 16/08/2017 expired on 30/06/2022</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The site of industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 24.12.2022 and it was observed as under :-</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry was in operation. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has provided a new water meter on the water supply line.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has already made an MOU with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana for the quantity of 5000 Ltr/month.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry is maintaining proper record of fresh water consumption as well as disposal to M/s JBR Tech. Pvt. Ltd. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has installed 5 No. Tempering furnace and 2 oil fired hardening furnace</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has not installed any D.G set/boiler/furnace in its premises.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry is located in designated industrial area i.e. Industrial Area –C.</span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2026 with usual conditions.</span></p> |
