<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">A. It is intimated that the undersigned was assigned the task of making the presentation of the East Bein regarding its pollution sources, mitigation measures from 12.12.2022 to 21.12.2022 for which the East Bein and its tributaries, sources of pollution were visited during these days, due to which the application could not be dealt. Now, the application of the industry was scrutinized and it is submitted as below: -</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">B. The industry was given personal hearing before the Hon'ble Chairman of the Board on 21.11.2022 in which it was decided as below:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">1. The project proponent shall operate the STP regularly and efficiently so as to keep all the parameters within the limits prescribed by the Board all the time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">2. Environmental Compensation of Rs 5 lac is imposed on the shopping mall due to the environmental damage caused, on the basis of best judgment assessment, within 10 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">3. The project proponent shall submit the permission from Central Ground Water Authority for extraction of underground water within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">4. The project proponent shall submit the compliance report of conditions of environmental clearance under EIA notification dated 14.09.2006 granted to it within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">5. Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar be asked to intimate the basis of allowing the sewer connectivity exclusively to M/s AGI Infra Ltd., village Khajurla, G.T road, Tehsil Phagwara only, failing in revenue district of Kapurthala. It may be further be asked that if this project has been allowed sewer connectivity, then the same shall also be extended to the hotels/restaurants & other establishments located nearby this project so that the grievances of adjoining residents and village Khajurla can be resolved. The reply so received be presented to Component Authority for further for further action after 15 days. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-2, Jalandhar to coordinate and get the reply from Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">6. The project proponent shall submit the approved copies of the building plans of all towers showing total tower wise built up area, open spaces and other details within 07-days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">7. The project proponent shall submit the detailed arrangements made for solid waste management, within 07 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">8. A team of officers of the Board be constituted to visit the project within 15 days to verify the approved built up area of the project and EC conditions, check green area provided as per occupancy, whether the plantation area is developed as per Karnal Technology, re-collect the effluent samples of STP installed, get it analyzed from Board's lab, check the operational record of STP/fresh water consumption in various streams as per EC granted to it and submit the detailed report along with recommendations in the matter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">9. The matter be also referred to SEICAA/SEAC for verification of EC conditions and its amendment if required.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">C. In compliance to the decision no. 2of the personal hearing the industry has deposited Rs. 5.0 lac vide R.no. 84/5444 dated 14.12.2022 as an Environmental Compensation to the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">D. The industry has deposited Rs. 7,20,000/- under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 7,20,000/- under the Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 31.03.2025.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">E. The </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar has yet to intimate regarding the issue of sewer connectivity of the hotels/restaurants & other establishments located nearby this project.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">F. The compliance report of the team of Board’s Officer constituted as per the decision no. 8 of the above mentioned personal hearing yet to be received.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';">In view of the above, the application may be processed after getting the compliance report of the team of Board’s Officer constituted as per the decision no. 8 of the above mentioned personal hearing and Zonal Office may be informed as above and RO may be guided for regarding dealing the consent application , please.</span></p>
