<p class="MsoNormal">It is submitted that point wise reply to the observations made is as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(i)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Whether the energy meter reading and the water meter (installed at outlet / on the line used for reusing the effluent) are in consonance with each other.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reply: During visit to the agency, it was found that the agency has installed energy meter, water (at outlet of ETP & reuse line). The agency has started maintaining the record of ETP operation from 08.12.2022, when water meter at the reuse line has been provided. The representative of the agency has informed that energy meter and water meter at the outlet of ETP <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>has been installed after the modification in ETP. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Consonance of Record will be checked /verified during the operation of record for period of atleast one month. The agency is required to be directed to submit monthly record of operation of ETP, in this regard. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(ii)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Apprx. 48 KL of the effluent is treated in the ETP and 2 KL has been recycled for washing purpose. Whether, the remaining quantum of effluent was found stored in the storage tank provided by the agency.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reply: <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As mentioned in Sr. no.1, the water meter at the outlet line has been installed later than the water meter at the outlet of ETP.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(iii) Whether the agency has provided any other mode for disposal of the treated effluent.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reply: <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Presently, there is no other mode of disposal except storage in tank for reuse.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(iv) Status of hazardous waste generated by the agency and its application applied under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, if any.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reply: The agency has provided Haz. Waste storage room of size 8’x8’x11’. There is nil storage of waste oil and ETP sludge in the room, only 15 oil filter was stored in the room.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(v)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Whether the agency has deposited any penalty fee as the CTO under the Water Act, 1974 was refused earlier and the validity of CTO under Air Act, 1981 was upto 31.03.2021.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reply: <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The revised adequacy of CTO fee has been calculated after deducting penalty fee of 300 % for failure to apply for CTO after 21.09.2020.</p>
