<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The violations made by the industry were reported to higher authority of the Board through E-office, where industry was issued notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 and 31-A of Air Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing before CEE (B) on 15.12.2022, which was further postponed due to urgent official engagements/administrative reasons and decided to issue show cause notice in writing within 7 days, which was issued to the industry vide Board’s letter no. 5912 dated 13.12.2022.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Meanwhile, the industry has applied for the fresh consent to operate of the Board under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online on OCMMS for the production of Ice Cream @ 2000 ltr./day, with requisite documents.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has deposited the consent fee of Rs. 43,700/- through online vide R.no. 905301774 dated 14.12.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 (including the penalty fee and NOC Regularization fee of Rs. 3600/- each) and Rs. 36000/- through online vide R.no. 505388847 dated 14.12.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, against the fixed assets of Rs. 74 lacs, as per the CA certificate submitted by the industry, which is adequate upto 30.09.2032 under the orange category.</p>

E-19 vide PSIEC, Chandigarh letter no. 29901 dated 16.01.2017 for the manufacture of Ice Cream. Similarly, the industry has also submitted a copy of transfer of industrial plot no. E-20 vide PSIEC, Chandigarh letter no. 22079 dated 29.08.2019 for the manufacture of Ice Cream.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed ETP for the treatment of effluent generated from the process as per feasibility report <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">submitted by the industry along with provision to discharge it into PSIEC sewer after treatment.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry representative informed that they will apply for registration under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 as Brand owner within 15 days.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->From above, it is clear that the industry has been established in the industrial growth centre, hence, site is suitable for the establishment of such type of industry. As such the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Keeping in view of above it is recommended that consents to operate of the Board under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the manufacturing of ice cream for a period upto 30.09.2027, with suitable conditions.</p> |
