<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has reported that earlier, the project was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span lang="EN-US">O15ASRCTOA3108101 dated 20/10/2015 up to 30/06/2020 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2018/700026 dated 15/02/2018 up to 30/06/2022 </span><span lang="EN-US">with usual terms & conditions, for operation of service station for washing and servicing of cars @ 08 numbers/day.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US">Thereafter the agency was visited by undersigned on 20.09.2022 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">The agency was in operation for washing and servicing of Honda cars</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">2. </span><span lang="EN-US">ETP installed by the agency was in operation. ETP consist of Oil & Grease Trap - collection tank – chemical dozing tank – settling tank – filter – outlet onto land for plantation along boundary. Effluent samples for collected from the outlet of ETP and as per analysis report issued by Zonal Lab, Jalandhar issued vide no. 2737-39 dated 03/10/2022, concentration of analyzed parameters i.e. pH=7.6, TSS=22 mg/l, BOD=10 mg/l, COD=68 mg/l and O&G=4.0 are within the prescribed limits of the Board.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">3. </span><span lang="EN-US">The service station has installed D.G. Set of capacity 125 KVA equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">4. </span><span lang="EN-US">The service station has provided separate room for storage of hazardous waste and hazardous waste was found stored in it. During visit, the representative of agency was advised to apply for obtaining authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">Now, the project has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with Compliance of the previous granted consents in annotated form, latest CA Certificate, water analysis report issued by Board’s Lab at Jalandhar. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">It has submitted CA certificate dated 30.06.2022 amounting to Rs. 416.97 Lakhs. It had deposited Rs. 70500 /- (including Rs. 59400/- fee under Water Act 1974, Rs. 2700/- penalty under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 8400/- as NOC regularization fee), adequate for a period upto 30/09/2027 after deducting penalty and NOC regularization fee as applicable. It had deposited Rs. 108500/- (including Rs. 32400/- penalty under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 75600/- fee under Air Act, 1981 adequate for a period upto 30/09/2027 under Air Act, 1981 after deducting the penalty of 300% of one year consent fee as applicable. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US">From above the agency has already been visited by undersigned on 20.09.2022 and found is complying with the provisions of under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has recommended that t</span>he consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project up to 30/09/2027 with usual terms and conditions and specific as under:-</p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">The agency shall apply for authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within 01 month.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that t</span><span lang="EN-US">he consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project up to 30/09/2027 with usual terms and conditions and specific as under:-</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">The agency shall apply for authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within 01 month.</span></p>
