<p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">It is intimated that the industry does not comply with the hearing decisions as the industry is continuing to carry out the Orange Category process within its premises. Accordingly, this office proposed the notice u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the CEE (P). Further action is under process. Now, the industry has applied again for CTO under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">It is further intimated that <span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;">a complaint dated 07.10.2022 from Resident Welfare Association, Sector 90-91, SAS Nagar was forwarded to the RO vide ZO Endst no. 6661 dated 31.10.2022 (copy enclosed). But the RO has not verified the facts.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;">If approved, the RO, may be requested to give its comments upon the facts in complaint and also intimate whether the site is suitable for such type of industry or not and send the clear cut recommendations so as to decide the CTO applications.</span></p> |
