<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">It is submitted that the previous CTO under Water Act, 1974 applied by the industry was refused as the industry has not made the compliance decisions dated 29/12/2021 as the industry has not upgraded its ETP. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The industry has now applied for fresh CTO under the Water Act, 1974. The industry was visited by Regional Office on 19.12.2022 and monitored the ETP. The analysis results are within limit as per analysis report. Regional Office has also reported that the industry has started upgradation of the existing ETP to remove the conc. of colour parameter. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">If may approved, CTO under Water Act, 1974 be granted upto 30.6.2023 with the special condition(s) as proposed by Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar may also be requested to visit the industry from time to time to check the progress made by the industry in upgradation of existing ETP and submit his detailed report/recommendations by 1.4.2023 through e-noting.</span></p>
