<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The agency has been established in the year 2014 without obtaining NOC/Consent of the Board. The agency applied for obtaining consents to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 in the year 2020. Since the ETP installed by the agency was found not in operation, no energy meter/flow meter installed with the ETP and no disposal arrangement provided for discharge of effluent after ETP, the consent to operate applied under the Water Act, 1974 was refused on 21.09.2020.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">As no violation reported under the Air Act, 1981, the consent to operate was granted under the Air Act, 1981 with validity upto 31.03.2021 for servicing and washing of cars @ 10 no./day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now application applied for obtaining consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Regional Office has reported that the agency has installed ETP of 5 KLD capacity alongwith the provision to utilize the treated effluent for washing purpose and no other mode of disposal provided. Energy meter installed. Flow meter installed at the outlet of the ETP and on the line from where the treated effluent is reused for washing purposes. DG set of 62 KVA installed with canopy and adequate stack height. Static filters provided in the painting booth alongwith adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, the consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the agency upto 30.09.2025, with the following specific conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> 1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The agency will operate its ETP regularly and scientifically and shall maintain proper record of the effluent generated/reused for washing purpose. The record maintained shall be submitted to the Regional Office of the Board on monthly basis. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> 2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The agency will maintain proper record of the energy meter installed with the ETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> 3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The agency will ensure that the entire waste water after treatment in reused for washing purposes and the same shall not be discharged through any other mode.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> 4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The agency will apply for obtaining authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, within 15 days.</span></p>
