<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: start; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black;">It is submitted that while granting the previous consent under the Water Act, 1974, the Regional Office was requested that to visit the site to monitor the STP, verify the mode of disposal, verify the record the record maintained by the PP and compliance of environmental laws. The PP was earlier granted partial CTO under Water Act, 1974 </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">for 164 Flats (Project namely “Citi Avenue”) and the mode of disposal as Domestic Effluent @ 89.0 KLD - After passing through STP 37 KLD for Flushing, 18 KLD for Green area and rest into sewer. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Now, the PP has applied for varied CTO under the Water Act, 1974 for total 252 flats, with total wastewater generation @ 151 KLD out of which 57 KLD for flushing purposes and 31 KLD for green area and rest 63 KLD into the sewer after treatment in STP.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, Regional Office has reported that the STP was not in operation and no record was being maintained w.r.t. operation of STP. Untreated water was being discharged into the sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">If approved, show cause notice for refusal of varied CTO under Water Act 1974 may be issued to the PP with an opportunity to submit reply within 7 days. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office may also be requested to submit his comments on the reply to be submitted by the project proponent.</span></p>
