<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Rice Sheller was earlier granted Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 & under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDH1/2022/17989848 dated 21.03.2022 valid upto 20.03.2023 for manufacturing of Rice @ 4.02 TPH by using of paddy @ 6 TPH with suitable terms and conditions.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now the, Rice Sheller has applied for fresh Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Rice @ 4.02 TPH by using of paddy @ 6 TPH. The industry has also submitted the fee vide online R no. 493217321 Rs. 28000 dated 22.12.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and vide online R no. 122881741 Rs. 28000 dated 22.12.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027. </span></p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 27.12.2022 & it was observed that:- </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Rice Sheller was not in operation during visit due to off season.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Rice Sheller has installed 01 Shelling unit with cyclone separator as APCD along with adequate stack, 1 no. Drier section with cyclone separator and 01 sorter as APCD with adequate stack. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Rice Sheller has provided septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent. The effluent after septic tank is discharged onto land for plantation.</span></p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 81.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the Rice Sheller upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board please.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 81.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">'Consent to Operate' under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the Rice Sheller for one year with suitable conditions and special condition that it will got analyzed its stack emission samples from Board Lab in coming season.</span></p>
