<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 0.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of auto parts and was established without obtaing consent to establish of the Board and now the industry has applied fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category with requisite documents and fee of Rs. vide online R no. 900839820 Rs. 108500 dated 22.12.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and NOC fee of Rs. 10800 and vide online R no. 948164757Rs. 108500 dated 21.11.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.12.2029 after deducting penalty. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 0.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has uploaded Approved building plan, PSPCL bill, Partnership deed, registry, DTP letter bearing no. 2418 dated 24.09.2018 mentioning that the site is industrial. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 0.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 27.12.2022 & it was observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0in 0.45pt 0.0001pt 23.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was in operation and was established without obtaining consent to establish (NOC) of the Board and is engaged in the manufacturing of auto parts.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0in 0.45pt 0.0001pt 23.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed 3 no. electrical heated furnaces. During visit while opening and closing of furnaces secondary fumes were observed. To properly disperse the fumes the industry has not provided any suction mechanism along with stack. Presently the fumes are dispersed inside the shed. Except the furnaces all the machinery is non-polluting.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0in 0.45pt 0.0001pt 23.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is not generating any trade effluent, only domestic effluent is generated, which the representative claimed is treated in septic tank. The so-called septic tanks got inspected in the presence of representative of the industry and found that no proper overflow out let has been provided. Further one inverted pipe found installed in the tank and it was appearing to be a rainwater pit instead of septic tank. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 0.45pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of the above it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry.</span></p>
