<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale orange category unit and has been granted Consent to operate under the Air <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>(Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 is valid upto 30.06.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs28560/- vide R. No. 590759257 dated 27.09.22 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.27.(after deducting late penalty fees and NOC fees )</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 27.12.22 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">1. The industry is engaged in the process of casting with cupola furnace.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">2. The industry was not in operation during the visit and is engaged in the process of making moulds during the visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">3. The industry has installed 2 no <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>cupola furnaces with wet cap as APCD as per design of PSCST.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">4. The industry has not provided any DG set.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">5. The industry has provided re-circulation tank for re-circulation of cooling water and cooling water is recirculated .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">6 . No trade effluent is generated by the industry and the domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">7. The industry has already deposited the requisite consent fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">In view of the above, it is recommended that renewal of consents to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to the industry upto 30.06.27 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board .</span></p>
