The proposed site of the industry is falls in the revenue estate of Village Khokhar, Tehsil Lehragaga, Distt. Sangrur having khasra no. 39//3 min (4-0) south 4 min (4-0) of land measuring 8 kanal 0 marla (1 acre). </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 3.9pt .0001pt 5.9pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Accordingly, the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish/CTE under small scale Orange category under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Card Board/Mix Board @ 2.0 MTD. The industry has also deposited requisite NOC fees as mentioned at serial no. VII against the proposed cost of the project @ 53.5 Lacs, which is adequate for one year as per the policy of the Board Dated 29/10/2018.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 3.9pt .0001pt 5.9pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Further, The industry has submitted a copy of NOC issued from Senior Town Planner, Patiala vide its memo no. 2101/STP(P)/SP-327(S) dated 12.12.2022 for change of land use as well as for construction of<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>industrial building for establishment of Mix board<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>manufacturing unit. As per the NOC, the proposed site falls under the Notified Local Planning area of Lehragaga for which Master Plan is yet to be prepared.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Further, it is mentioned that during the preparation of the Master Plan of LehraGaga, the proposed site of the industry may fall under Mix Land Use Zone. It is pertinent to mentioned here that as per one of the condition of said NOC:-</span></p>

According to which, the proposed site is located at a distance of more than 3.0 km from boundary limits of MC and as per notification issued by Chief Town Planner, Punjab Chandigarh dated 24/09/2022 and notification no. PS/PSHUD 2006 dated 12/11/2021, Orange category industry is permissible in 'Mix Land use'.<span style="letter-spacing: .65pt;"> Moreover, in the said report, it is mentioned that there is only 1 number Marriage Palace and 01 number Petrol Pump within 100 Mtrs radius of the proposed site<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">.</strong></span></span></span></p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 51.8pt; line-height: 200%; margin: 0cm 12.0pt .0001pt 16.4pt;"><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 110%;">Hence the site of the industry is complying with general sitting guidelines and is suitable for establishment of proposed unit.</span></strong></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 51.8pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 12.0pt .0001pt 16.4pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 110%;">The<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>industry<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>has also<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>submitted<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> a </span>feasibility<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>report<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>regarding the<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>various<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>pollutions<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>involved and its control measures to be taken. <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>As per the report, initially there will be a requirement of 5 KLD of fresh water and thereafter 2.5 KLD of fresh water will be used as makeup water along with waste water generated from its process.<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>There will no waste water generation & all the waste water generated from its process will <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>be <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>re-circulated <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>back <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>to <span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>the<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>beater/pulper<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>with<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>the<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>help<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>collection<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>tank. As such, the industry has not proposed any ETP for treatment of said waste water. However, the industry has proposed to provide proposed 2 tanks having size 9 mtr × 3 mtr × 2.5 mtr for re-circulating water. Only<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>domestic<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>effluent<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>will<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>be<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>generated,<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>which<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>will<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>be<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>discharged<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>onto<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>land for<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>plantation<span style="letter-spacing: 1.0pt;"> </span>after<span style="letter-spacing: 1.15pt;"> </span>passing<span style="letter-spacing: 1.0pt;"> </span>through<span style="letter-spacing: 1.1pt;"> </span>septic<span style="letter-spacing: .8pt;"> </span>tank.</span></p>

In this regard, the industry has proposed to procure ETP sludge from the industries who have valid authorization for the same from the concerned SPCB as required under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Tranboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</span></p>
