<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">It is submitted that the industry is a spinning mill and was established without obtaining Consent to Establish from the Board. Now, the industry has applied for Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The applicant has submitted CLU from DTP, Ludhiana as proof of Industrial Zone; Lease deed of the land, Udhyam Registration mentioning date of Establishment as April, 2001; Site plan/Location plan, Undertaking regarding Proprietorship, CA certificate regarding Fixed assets as on 31/02/2022 and Manufacturing process flow chart. The documents submitted by the industry may kindly be perused.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The fee submitted by the industry is valid upto 31/12/2023 including one time notional fee of Rs 25,000/-. The industry was visited by undersigned on 23/12/2022 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The industry is an small scale spinning mill and engaged in manufacturing of Polyester yarn from fiber.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">There is no source of air pollution/Water pollution from process of the industry and only domestic effluent is generated.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The domestic effluent @ 2KLD is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-indent: -18pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The DG Set installed by the industry is with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">In view of the above, if approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31/12/2023 Subject to suitable conditions, please.</span></p>
