ATF / product is pumped from these semi-buried tanks to refuelers and these refuelers move to tarmac for refueling aircraft. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  The PP has submitted an undertaking regarding the land on lease in an area of 9.18 acres. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  The PP has submitted CA certificate of dated 14.12.2022 and as per CA certificate total fixed assets of the refueling station is 4.15 crore. Accordingly, the PP has deposited the consent fee of Rs. 8400/- each under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online vide R.no. 360466021 dated 23.11.2022 & 277862816 dated 22.11.2022 respectively, which is adequate for one year. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  The PP has also submitted a certificate that this refueling station was commissioned on 14.11.1981 to cater aviation turbine fuel (ATF) requirement of Indian Air Force Station, Bhatinda and Civil Airport, Bhatinda. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  The Board vide its letter no. 3510 dated 12.10.1988 had issued a letter to Sr. Stn. Manager, Aviation Fuel Station, Air Force Station, P.O. Goniana Mandi, Bhisiana, Bhatinda that there is no necessity of consent under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 as your activities are not relevant for Air and Water pollution. (Copy attached) <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  The site of the refiling station was visited by AEE of this office on 29.12.2022 and it is found as under- <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;">1.    The refiling station was in operation. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;">2.    There is no hospital / residential area within 100-meters of the refiling station. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;">3.    The refiling station has one no. DG set of capacity 75 KVA which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;">4.    The refiling satiation has one no. septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent and same is discharged onto land for plantation. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 0cm 4.0pt 0cm;">Ø  From above it is clear that the refiling station is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. Hence, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for a period of one year under the green category with suitable conditions.     Competency – Environmental Engineer.
