<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the authority has applied for fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of sewerage treatment plant having capacity 4 MLD alongwith requisite documents which may kindly be perused.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has deposited Rs. 108000/- vide UTR No. IBKL190925331841 dated 25.09.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The authority has submitted electricity bill regarding proof of date of commissioning i.e. 17.10.2018. The authority needs to submit the commissioning proof so as to adjudged the adequacy of fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted feasibility report of STP. The authority has submitted a letter written by GMADA vide letter no. 4155 dated 13.12.2022 to Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Derabassi for provide records regarding STP Derabassi to consent to operate in which mentioned that:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted a letter written by GMADA vide letter no. 732 dated 14.02.2019 to Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Derabassi for consent to operate of STP Derabassi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted a letter written by Nagar Council, Der Bassi vide letter no. 810 dated 20.02.2019 to Executive Officer, Mandal Engineer (JS-1), GMADA for consent to operate of STP Derabassi in which mentioned that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted dimensional drawing of STP. The authority has submitted tender document alongwith agreement allotted by GMADA vide no. GMADA-DE.(PH1)5838 dated 23.12.2011 regarding allotment of work of Designing & Construction of 1.50 MLD and 4.00 MLD capacity Main Pumping Station and ST Plant at Dera Bassi based on SBR technology and all other works contingent there to along with Operation and Maintenance for a period of 60 months, after date of completion.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted a letter issued by Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, PUDA Bhawan, SAS Nagar vide memo no. GMADA-SE(HQ)/2018/150 dated 15.03.2018 regarding Designing & Construction of 1.50 MLD and 4.00 MLD capacity Main Pumping Station and ST Plant at Dera Bassi based on SBR technology and all other works contingent there to along with Operation and Maintenance for a period of 60 months, after date of completion to Divisional Engineer (personal hearing-1), GMADA, SAS Nagar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted agreement between Divisional Engineer (personal hearing-1), GMADA, SAS Nagar and “Hydrotech Paryavaran (India) Pvt. Ltd., F-31, Industrial Area, Phase-VII, Mohali ” hereinafter called or the other part. The employer is desirous that the contractor execute Designing & Construction of 1.50 MLD and 4.00 MLD capacity Main Pumping Station and ST Plant at Dera Bassi based on SBR technology and all other works contingent thereto along with Operation and Maintenance for a period of 60 months, after date of completion allotted for the period of 6 months as construction period and 3 months as stabilization period beyond construction period and 60 months operation and maintenance period and employer has accepted the bid by the contractor for the execution and completion off such works.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority has submitted Memorandum of Understanding between Municipal Council of Derabassi, Punjab through its (Designation/Authorized Signatory) Mr. Rajesh Sharma (hereinafter referred to as “First party” of the FIRST PART and M/s ATS Infrastructure Limited, a company incorporated under the provisions of Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered office at 711/92, Deepali, Nehru Place, New Delhi through its Authorized Signatory Mr. Sanjeev Kathuria (hereinafter referred to as “Second Party” of the SECOND PART. First Party and the Second Party are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Parties” and individually as a “Party”. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The effluent samples were collected during the monthly monitoring for the months. As per the analysis results received through Head Office, the conc. of the parameters were within the prescribed limits of the Board as tabulated below:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The authority is not achieving the prescribed parameters for the month of December 2021 as well as failed to comply with the decisions of the personal hearing held before the worthy Chairman of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above mentioned facts, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be refused please.</span></p> |
