<p style="text-align: justify;">As per analysis report of sample collected on 21.12.2022, the concentration of parameter SPM is 159 mg/Nm3 against 800 mg/Nm3, which is within the prescribed limits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A complaint was received against the industry on 21.12.2022 regarding air pollution through whatsapp and a video clip was also received, in which industry was found emitting continuous thick black smoke.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The mechanical fuel feeder of the industry was not in operation and wood chips were being used manually during visit on 21.12.2022, which can be reason of black smoke as mentioned in the complaint.</p>

<p>In view of above, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p>1. Consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused.</p>
<p>2. Notice u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be issued to the industry separately.</p>
