<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> It is submitted that directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 were issued against the industry no. 3467 dated 03/11/2022 for disconnection of the electric connection of the industry as the industry was not having adequate treatment facility for waste water generated from pickling process and operating without consents. .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent under Air Act, 1981 & Water Act, 1974. The industry was visited on 19.12.2022 and observed that the industry was not in operation during visit. During visit it was found that the electric connection of the industry has been disconnected by PSPCL authorities vide TDCO no. 100020107159 dated 12.12.2022.The industry has made an agreement @ 4000 ltr with M/s JBR Technology, Jain Colony, Moti Nagar, Ludhiana. The industry has installed water meter in the processing area. The industry has provided underground tank of capacity 20000 ltrs for collection of effluent. The industry has installed powder coating booths with induilt cyclones and adequate stack height. The industry has provided to diesel fired ovens having adequate stack height. The industry has submitted letter from Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur vide letter no. 427 dated 07.12.2022 mentioning that the industry shall shift its unit upto 2026.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> Keeping in view of the above, if approved:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 54pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 &|Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for six months with suitable special conditions and special conditions that:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 93.75pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -93.75pt;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>I.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall comply MC letter no. 427 dated 07.12.2022</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 93.75pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -93.75pt;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>II.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall maintain the record for water consumption in process/ effluent lifted to M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd, Ludhiana.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 93.75pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -93.75pt;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>III.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall not used hydrochloric acid (HCl) without permission of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 54pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>Directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 may be issued to the PSPCL Authorities to restore the electric connection temporarily for 06-months.
