<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; text-indent: 0.5in;">The necessary amendments have been made and it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 22.08.2025 for shelling of rice @ 32 TPD by using paddy @ 48 TPD with suitable conditions and special conditions that: -</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px; margin: 0in 8pt 0.0001pt 40.5pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The industry will continue to comply with the new code of practice prescribed by Punjab Govt. Department of Science, Technology and Environment vide order no. 932 dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px; margin: 0in 8pt 0.0001pt 40.5pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The industry shall upgrade or install adequate air pollution control device to achieve the amended emission standard, if any, amendment made.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px; margin: 0in 8pt 0.0001pt 40.5pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">4. </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The industry shall submit sample analysis report from Boards lab during upcoming paddy season.</span></p> |
