Earlier, the Brick Kiln was granted consent to operate Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide online reference no. CTOA/Fresh/PKT/2019/9661733 dated 11/05/2019, which is valid upto 30/09/2024 under Orange Category. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 14,500/- vide UTR No. SBIN422300097796 dated 27/10/2022 as consent to operate fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30/09/2027 including Rs. 500/- as Form downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 74,94,998/- as on 30/09/2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted completion certificate issued by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/81 dated 19/04/2018 intimating that the industry has constructed induced draft Brick Kiln with zig-zag firing as per the technology evolved by the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology. The Kiln owner will ensure the implementation of recommended operating practices as per the Feasibility Report (SPL-736). The Brick Kiln has also submitted the copy of dimensional drawing/plan of Kiln showing the length of Central Island of brick kiln is less than 245 ft. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of the above, may if approved “Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended to the Brick Kiln for a period upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions along with the special conditions as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -28.9pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The brick kiln shall get its stack emission analyzed as per policy of the Board. </span></p>
