<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">It is submitted that earlier the brick kiln was granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2019/11015192 dated 16/09/2019 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2019/11015170 dated 16/09/2019, both of which were valid upto 30/09/2022 for manufacturing of Bricks & Tiles @ 20,000 Number/Year subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Now, the brick kiln has applied for obtaining consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith compliance of previous consent and consent fee. Further, the unit has submitted the CA certificate, wherein, the value of fixed assets as on 08.12.2022 is Rs. 22.74 lakhs. As per the record file, the earlier fee deposited by the unit under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was adequate upto 31.12.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Now, the unit has deposited Rs. 9700/- vide UTR No. AXSK223500009540 dated 16.12.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 9200/- vide UTR No. AXSK223500009456 dated 16.12.2022 under the Air Act, 1981. As such, the fee deposited by the unit under the Water Act, 1974 is adequate upto 29.02.2028 and under the Air Act, 1981 is adequate upto 31.12.2027 after deducting 10% penalty under the both acts as per circular dated 29.10.2018.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is added here the unit has also submitted Rs. 7198/- vide R. No. 79/5324 dated 03.01.2023, as advance fee w.r.t the stack emission samples and has requested to conduct the sampling through the Board, which shall be conducted shortly.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, the unit was visited by the AEE of this office on 02.01.2023 and Sh. Rishi Kumar, proprietor was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed for 30.09.2027, subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:</span></p>
