<p>It is submitted that the industry was given an opportunity of show cause in writing within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice to explain your position as to why further action under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, but the industry has failed to reply the show cause notice within the stipulated time period.
