As reported by Regional Office, the industry </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">has proposed to establish a Card Board/Mix Board manufacturing unit for manufacturing of Card Board/Mix Board @ 2.0 MTD by using Rice Straw @ 0.8 MTD, Jute Bags/Cow Dung @ 0.4 MTD, Paper Mill ETP Sludge from Primary Clarifier @ 0.8 MTD and Water @ 2500 Liter/day as raw material. The proposed site of the industry is falls in the revenue estate of Village Khokhar, Tehsil Lehragaga, Distt. Sangrur having khasra no. 39//3 min (4-0) south 4 min (4-0) of land measuring 8 kanal 0 marla (1 acre). The industry had obtained CLU form Deptt. of Town & Country Planning, Punjab and as per the report of DTP, such type of units are allowed to establish in mix land use area. Further, the industry has also submitted a feasibility report regarding the various pollutions involved and its control measures to be taken. As per the report, initially there will be a requirement of 5 KLD of fresh water and thereafter 2.5 KLD of fresh water will be used as makeup water along with waste water generated from its process. There will no waste water generation & all the waste water generated from its process will be re-circulated back to the beater/pulper with the help of collection tank. As such, the industry has not proposed any ETP for treatment of said waste water. However, the industry has proposed to provide proposed 2 tanks having size 9 mtr × 3 mtr × 2.5 mtr for re-circulating water. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Only domestic effluent will be generated, which will be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. Accordingly, Regional Office has reported that the site of the industry is suitable and has recommended for grant of NOC. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of the facts mentioned above and recommendations given by Regional Office, if approved, Consent to establish (NOC) to the industry for setting up of a unit to manufacture Card Board/Mix Board @ 2.0 MTD by using Rice Straw @ 0.8 MTD, Jute Bags/Cow Dung @ 0.4 MTD, Paper Mill ETP Sludge from Primary Clarifier @ 0.8 MTD and Water @ 2500 Liter/day as raw material under small scale orange category with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and with suitable conditions and following specific conditions:</span></p>
