<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) for setting up an industrial unit u/s 25 of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 21 of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/SGR/2022/19298376 valid upto 19/07/2023 for manufacturing of<span style="color: red;"> </span>PVC Pipes @ 2.5 MTD by using Resin, Calcium and Chemical @ 2.5 MTD as raw material. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 2.5 MTD by using Resin, Calcium and Chemical @ 2.5 MTD as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has deposited Rs. 33,600/- Vide. R.No. BKIDN22326194413 dated 22.11.2022 under the Water Act, 1974, Rs. 640/- Vide. R.No. BKIDN22326191558 dated 22.11.2022 as Penalty Fee, Rs. 33,600/- Vide. R.No. BKIDN22326191415 dated 22.11.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, Rs. 640/- Vide. R.No. BKIDN22326191484 dated 22.11.2022 as Penalty Fee and Rs. 500/- Vide. R.No. BKIDN22326194461 dated 22.11.2022 as application fee, which is adequate up to 31/12/2030 as per C.A certificate of fixed assets of Rs. 153.46 lacs dated 31.03.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">To verify the facts, the industry has been visited by the AEE of this office on 02/01/2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

The industry generating domestic effluent @ 0.6 KLD which is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has installed a D.G set of capacity 140 KVA which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Keeping above in view, it is recommended that consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 & under the Air Act, 1981 may be issued up to 31/12/2030 for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 2.5 MTD by using Resin, Calcium and Chemical @ 2.5 MTD as raw material, under green category.</span></p> |
