Earlier, the ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 was granted to the industry upto 31/12/2022 for discharge of domestic effluent into sewer. </span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with fee adequate upto 31.1.2.2025. The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 22/12/2022 and it was observed as under: </span></p>

DG sets of capacity 1250 KVA & 500 KVA with adequate stack height and acoustic room provided.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31/12/2025.</span></p>
