<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the Brick kiln has granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 from the Board vide online reference no. CTOA/Fresh/GRP/2019/9997763 dated 25/07/2019 which are valid upto 30/09/2024.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Brick Kiln was visited under Environment Surveillance Campaign on 07/12/2022 as per instruction received from the higher authority and was observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Further, after approval of the Competent Authority of the Board an advisory was issued to the brick kiln vide this office letter no. 54 dated 05/01/2022 for providing adder with sampling platform and to plant more trees around the boundary if the Brick Kiln. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The brick kiln has submitted a compliance regarding advisory issued to the brick kiln along with photographs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is further intimated that, the consent to operate Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the industry vide online reference no. CTOA/Fresh/GRP/2019/9997763 dated 25/07/2019, which is valid upto30/09/2024 under orange category. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the subject cited brick kiln has applied for obtaining fresh Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS mode. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The BKO has deposited Rs. 29,500/- Vide UTR No. N356222257425685 dated 22/12/2022and Rs. 8700/- vide UTR No. N356222257426379 dated 22/12/2022 as consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30/09/2027 including Rs. 500/- as Form downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 46,91,000/- as on 30/11/2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The BKO has already submitted completion certificate issued by Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee vide dated 30/04/2019, intimating that the industry has constructed High Draft Brick Kiln with zig-zag technology, rectangular in shape as per CSIR-CBRI design. Design details given by our license M/s Team Energy Systems, Panchkula via drawing no. 19/857. The Brick Kiln has also submitted the copy of dimensional drawing/plan of Kiln showing the length of Central Island of brick kiln is less than 245 ft. The brick kiln was visited on 05/01/2023 and observed as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: .25in; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The brick kiln has planted fresh sapling along the boundary of Brick Kiln.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: .25in; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now brick kiln has installed platform with ladder with stack for sample collection purpose. Sampling facility installed by the industry is adequate.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: .25in; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The brick kiln complied with the code of practice prescribed by the Board for brick kilns. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of the above, may if approved “Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the Brick Kiln for a period upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions along with the special conditions as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -28.9pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent shall comply with code of practice/directions issued by PSCST, Chandigarh. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -28.9pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The brick kiln shall get its stack emission analyzed as per policy of the Board. </span></p>
