<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. ZP-II/SGR/WPC/2013/F-559 dated 10/02/2014 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZP-II/SGR/APC/2013/F-451 dated 10/02/2014 both valid upto 31/12/2022 for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 2.75 TPD by using PVC Resin, calcium carbonate & other chemicals @ 2.75 TPD as raw material. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 2.75 TPD by using PVC Resin, calcium carbonate & other chemicals @ 2.75 TPD as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has deposited Rs. 26,100/- Vide. R.No. 556133191 dated 24.12.2022 under the Water Act, 1974, Rs. 26,600/- (Rs. 26,100/- as CTO Air fee and Rs. 500/- as application fee) Vide. R.No. 275504961 dated 24.12.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate up to 31/12/2031 as per C.A certificate of fixed assets of Rs. 72.03 lacs dated 30.11.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry has also submitted compliance report of consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide Office Order No. 59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of Consent to Operate/ Establish to Orange & Green Category of Industries within 7 days of its application submission without the need of visiting the site/ premises of the industry, in order to facilitate the industry. Further, it is intimated that there is no change in the underappreciated value of the fixed assets.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">No complaint is pending against the industry. The industry was found complying with consent conditions during last visit and consents were granted thereafter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 62.15pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Keeping above in view, it is recommended that consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 & under the Air Act, 1981 may be issued up to 31/12/2031 for manufacturing of PVC Pipes @ 2.75 TPD by using PVC Resin, calcium carbonate & other chemicals @ 2.75 TPD, as raw material, under green category.</span></p> |
