<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">It is submitted that earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate vide no. CTOA/Renew/MOG/2021/16258843 and CTOW/Renew/MOG/2021/16259006 dated 10.08.2021 under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, respectively for packing of products @ 2500 kgs/day i.e. Everyday, Nestle Coffee, Milk Powder, Coffee Powder, Soap Needle, Cup Soap etc, subject to conditions mentioned therein, which is valid upto 30.09.2022 each. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for packing of products @ 2500 kgs/day i.e. Everyday, Nestle Coffee, Milk Powder, Coffee Powder, Soap Needle, Cup Soap etc. The detail of the case is as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">• The industry has submitted CA certificate dated 23.12.2022, showing value of fixed assets of Rs. 244.2 lacs as on 30.09.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">• The industry has already deposited consent fee Rs. 44,100/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXSK211510006735 dated 31/05/2021 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 44,100/- vide UTR/Ref. No. AXSK211510006775 dated 31/05/2021 under the Air Act, 1981, which was adequate upto 30/06/2026. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">• The industry has submitted compliance report. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. CEE(HQ)/F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of consent to operate / establish to orange & green category of industries without the need for visiting the site / premises of the industry in order to facilitate the industry / ease of doing business in the State. As per this order, the data, processes & pollution control measures installed by the industry shall be verified at later stage by visiting the site as per inspection guidelines. Further, submitted that no complaint has been received against the industry in this office and no action is lying pending against the industry as per file record.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It is therefore recommended that renewal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 and the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2025 for packing of products @ 2500 kgs/day, subject to the suitable conditions. </span></p> |
