CTOW/Renewal/PTA/2017/6536719 dated 31/10/2017 & under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/PTA/2017/6536630<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 31/10/2017, both were valid upto 30/09/2022, for manufacturing of Honey barrels @ 30 MTD, Honey glass jars @ 1.67 TPD and Bee wax @ 1.0 MTD under orange category subject to certain conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Earlier, the industry has submitted application for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Honey barrels @ 32 MTD, Honey glass jars @ 3.0 TPD and Bee wax @ 0.6 MTD, however, the applications were returned due to certain incompletion. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing </span><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">of</span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> Honey barrels @ 30 MTD, Honey glass jars @ 1.67 TPD and Bee wax @ 1.0 MTD under orange category along with requisite documents. The industry has deposited Rs. 235000/- vide online receipt No. 619484942</span> dated 22.09.2022 under the Water Act, 1974, Rs. 235000/- vide online receipt No. 408650469 dated 22.09.2022 under the Air Act, 1981. The total consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2026 against the capital investment of Rs. 40.57 Crores as on 31.03.2022 as per the latest CA certificate dated 02.12.2022 submitted by the industry. The industry has also submitted Rs. 18000/- Vide online receipt no. 746424912 dated 19.12.2022 as NOC regularization fee due to increase in fixed assets.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has submitted effluent sampling report conducted from PBTI, Mohali on 31.08.2022 and as per analysis report, the various parameters are within permissible limit as prescribed by the Board. Also, the effluent sampling of the industry was conducted by this office on 17.09.2022 and as per analysis report, the various parameters are within permissible limit as prescribed by the Board. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has submitted a compliance reports of consent conditions under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 earlier granted by the Board. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; text-indent: 1in;">In view of the above, it is, therefore, recommended that the renewal consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30.09.2026 for manufacturing of Honey barrels @ 30 MTD, Honey glass jars @ 1.67 TPD and Bees wax @ 1.0 MTD subject to suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board.</span></p> |
