The RO was requested to clarify whether the plantation area shall be developed as per Karnal Technology or in form of Beds n Lawns and adequacy to take up the effluent load. Furthermore, the RO had mentioned that the RO reject @ 22 KLD shall also be discharged in the plantation area but no comment regarding the adequacy of the plantation area to take up this effluent load were given.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: 82.1pt; text-autospace: none; margin: 9.7pt 30.25pt .0001pt 64.55pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 86%;">Now, the RO after discussing with the representative of the industry has clarified that that the industry is developing<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>50 % land i.e 2400 sq m in form of green lawns/beds and remaining 2400 sqm in form of karnal technology and affirmed that the total plantation<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>area shall be<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>adequate to take<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>effluent load of 37 KLD (15 KLD + 22 KLD) considering three seasons and 60 Kl/Acre hydraulic loading as per karnal technology.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: 82.1pt; text-autospace: none; margin: 9.7pt 30.25pt .0001pt 64.55pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 86%;">However, it is worthwhile to mention that the industry is still developing the plantation area.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: 82.1pt; text-autospace: none; margin: 9.7pt 30.25pt .0001pt 64.55pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 86%;">In consideration of the report/ recommendations sent by RO; if approved, the Consent to Operate for manufacturing of cattle feed @ 1200 MTD under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2023 and under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2027, subject to suitable conditions and the following additional conditions that:</span></p>

Also, the industry shall maintain record of the treated effluent & RO reject utilized as such and make available to the visiting officer of the Board during the conduct of visit to the unit, without fail.</span></strong></p>
